Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil
Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge of Good and
Evil
(1) The identity of the tree of knowledge of
good and evil
People in all churches around the world believe
that “God created the tree of knowledge of good and
evil.” Looking at Genesis 2:9, “And out of the ground made
the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for
food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of
knowledge of good and evil.』
“the tree of life also in
the midst of the garden,” The
comma (,) after this sentence should be changed to peoriod (.).That is why the
tree of knowledge of good and evil was excluded from the tree that God made.
There are three
types of trees created by God. It is a tree of joy, a tree worth looking at for
food, a tree of life.
However, the ‘Tree
of the Knowledge of Good and Evil’ suddenly intervenes. The tree of the
knowledge of good and evil represents one's righteousness. This is a tree that
represents the desire to become like God. God does not make trees like this. To
find out the identity of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you can
find out by looking at Matthew 13:24-25. Tares correspond to the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil.
In Matthew
13:24-25, “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of
heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men
slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way..』The good seed becomes the tree of life. However, tares are the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil. Who planted the weeds? They say the enemy
planted it, but who is the enemy? That guy is called sin.
Church people think of sin as breaking the commandments. However, sin
has a desire to break the commandment before it breaks it. That is sin. That is
why we must reveal the identity of the sin of greed.
People living in the modern world come into contact with artificial
intelligence (A.I.) every day. Artificial intelligence refers to big data that
combines all the knowledge and experiences of people in the world. This is to
be a solution to people. A.I. will gradually develop and advance to the point
where it can make decisions on its own. So one day, this will solve everything
for humans, and humans will be unable to live without relying on it. People may
even try to give up thinking for themselves by implanting artificial
intelligence in their brains. Artificial intelligence does not give humans time
to think, so ultimately, people end up living in a world dominated by
artificial intelligence. Humans become slaves to artificial intelligence. In
the end, artificial intelligence becomes evil for humans. Evil is something
that causes harm. Artificial intelligence is a sin to humans. Although this is
a hypothetical scenario, artificial intelligence will eventually turn humans
into computers and robots, destroying metaphysical human values.
If we apply this same
principle to the kingdom of God, the evil angels created A.I. (Angel
Intelligence) by combining their abilities, knowledge, and thoughts. “The A.I. they share” is what allows them to become like
God without God. This is what sin means to God.
The reason I want to
introduce artificial intelligence like this to talk about sin is because I
wanted to say that sin is not an idea, but a real existence. I want believers
to approach this by thinking in the hypothetical way, “Sin is Angel intelligence.”
Sin (A.I.)
did not originate in the world, but in the kingdom of God. A.I. is the A.I.
(Angel Intelligence) of evil angels.
Romans 5:12 『Wherefore, through one man sin entered into the world, and death by
sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:』
『Death came in through sin.』The Bible says that death came in because of sin (A.I.). In chapter
5 verse 14, 『Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to
Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's
transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come..』 It is said that death reigns as king. Death also does not have an
ideological meaning, but an actual existence. “Death reigns as king” means that A.I. gives orders to humans and makes them
act as if they were their masters.
The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was not created by God, but is
an A.I. created by evil angels. When the “evil angel
spirit” enters the body of dust and becomes a human, A.I also enters the body.
This appears as the parable of the weeds in the Gospel of Matthew.
(2) Satan’s temptation
Romans 5:10 『For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death
of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.』 When a sinner thinks, Satan is the enemy. . In God's eyes, sinners
are God's enemies.
Tares are the tree of knowledge of good and evil (A.I.). The Bible
calls the enemy the devil (Diablo). Diablo is another name for Satan. Why does
Satan, God's angel, plant weeds? For he is a tester. Satan's test does not
approach those who do not believe in Jesus. Because those who do not believe in
Jesus are in the hands of Satan. However, there is a test from Satan “for those
who try to escape from Satan, enter into Jesus, and find freedom from sin.” That is
planting tares.
Satan tests believers. Satan plants fake A.I. in the hearts of
believers. Satan tests the faith of believers. Even if one was born from heaven
with Jesus, the carnal mind that arises from fake A.I. torments the believer.
The believer believes that the body of sin is dead, but the carnal mind
torments the believer. The physical mind that appears from fake A.I. is also
fake. For those whose body of sin is dead (true saints), sin cannot be
contained. However, for fake believers whose bodies of sin have not died, fake
A.I. is activated. So, fake believers eat the fruit of greed and continue to
commit sins.
It is a test to see whether believers follow the word of God by
neutralizing “the A.I. that Satan has planted in the hearts of believers.” If a
believer only says he believes in Jesus, but does not die on the cross with
Jesus, "the A.I will come alive and distort the word of God," and
those who do not die with Jesus will not pass Satan's test.
So, fake believers must repent and die on the cross with Jesus.
Believers must die with Jesus to avoid being caught by fake A.I. And, true
believers who died with Jesus will not be caught by fake A.I., but they must
continue to eat the fruit of the tree of life (the word of truth) and confirm
their identity. Believers should not be fooled by fakes. There are too many
people in the church today who preach fake things.
Matthew 13:40-43 『As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall
it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and
they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do
iniquity; And he shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing
and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the
kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.』
Tares
correspond to the tree of knowledge of good and evil (A.I.), and fake believers
who operate on it are subject to the second death. “To be consumed by fire” is to be the second death. Those
who realize this and enter into Christ while alive in the world have already
received the second death, but those who do not enter into Christ will enter
Hades and be judged by the second death.
The reason why the ‘Tree of the Knowledge of Good and
Evil’ is
mentioned in Genesis 2:16-17 is that tares have already been planted in the
garden. In other words, it means that tares have been planted in the hearts of
believers. So God tells us not to eat the fruit of sin (A.I.), but to eat the
fruit of the tree of life. In other words, live in response to the word of God.
The word of God means the death and resurrection of the cross. Those who
respond to A.I. do not know that they will die with Jesus. If a believer does
not die with Jesus, he is under the law and eats the fruit of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. Even for those who do not believe in present
resurrection, sin is still in their hearts. A.I. continues to work on them.
(3) Do not eat the
fruit of the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”
Genesis 2:16-17 『And the LORD God commanded the man,
saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that
thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely(mut) die(mut).』
“Eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” means becoming one’s own judge of good and evil, and it
comes from the desire to become like God. These words express the story of an
angel who sinned in the kingdom of God.
Jude 1:6 『And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own
habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the
judgment of the great day.』, 2 Peter 2:4 『For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to
hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;』
The angels who sinned were
greedy because they wanted to be like God, so God punished them. In Chapter 2,
Verse 17, the angel who sinned ate from the “tree of the knowledge of good and
evil.”
Because they wanted to be like God. That fruit is the fruit of sin. God
imprisoned the angel who sinned in the dust of the world and transformed him
into a human being. God turned an evil angel into a human being and confined
his spirit in his body. So, in Genesis 2:7, “And the LORD God formed man of the
dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living soul.』
Although they were confined to the earth and became humans, they
were the sons of God. So, God predestined Christ to save them. This is the
atoning death of Christ.
Sin did not originate in the world, but in the kingdom of God.
Romans 5:12 『Wherefore,
as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned:』
One person is the first man, Adam.
It is translated as “through one man,” and the first man, Adam, is the passage through which sin
enters the world. In other words, the word passage means the body through which
sin passes. So, the body of sin is the channel of sin. The 『body of sin』
in Romans 6:6 is called 『to soma tes hamartias』 (τὸ σῶμα τῆς ἁμαρτίας) in Greek, and can be seen as not
a body of sin, but something like a container for garbage. If you think of sin
as an object, it is like a vessel containing sin. The first man, Adam, plays
that role. The first man is Christ. Colossians 1:15 『Who is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of every creature:』
About Christ's atoning death,
Genesis 2:21-22 speaks of it. “And
the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon(die) Adam, and he slept: and he
took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead of it; And the rib, which
the LORD God had taken from man, made him a woman, and brought her unto the
man."
The first man, Adam, was the Christ
of atonement and created a body of sin for future generations. Then he died and
ascended to heaven. And then men and women appeared in the world. Through them,
the body of sin is passed down from generation to generation, and the “spirit of sin and sin” enters the body of sin.
The first man, Adam, and the man, Adam, are different beings. The
first man, Adam, refers to Christ who created the body of sin into man and
woman, and man (Adam) refers to an angel who sinned in the kingdom of God. The
woman also symbolizes the angel who sinned.
“Making the woman from the rib of the first man
Adam” means
that Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Separation from
God due to sin. The first man, Adam, fell asleep foreshadowing the atoning
death of Christ.
Men and women are born with a body
of sin from the first man, Adam, and the sins committed by angels enter their
bodies of sin from heaven. And, because the spirit of the angel who sinned
enters the body of sin, it becomes the people (man and woman) of the next generation.
So, the spirit of an evil angel enters the body of sin and dies spiritually.
Like this, all people in the world have sin and a body of sin (physical body).
Believers receive their body of sin from their parents, and sin comes from
heaven along with the spirit of sin.
『The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil』 is a legalistic tree, a tree in which the self becomes the subject.
This is the tree that believed that “people can achieve righteousness by keeping the law on
their own.” In the
words, “Eat from
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (the law),” the fruit of the law is sin. The result of sin is death
(of the sacrifice). The law is what God makes the people realize about their
sins, and eating the fruit of the law is eating sin. “He said, ‘In
the day you eat, you will die(mut) and die(mutP.’” It symbolizes death twice. It represents water baptism
and fire baptism.
The tree of the knowledge of good
and evil in Genesis 2:16-17 and the tree in Genesis 3:3-6 are different trees.
In Genesis 3:3-6, the tree in the center of the garden refers to the “tree of life.”
(4) Eat the fruit of the tree of life
In Genesis 3:1-4, 『Now the serpent was more subtil than any
beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, Yea,
hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said
unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of
the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye
shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent
said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely(mut) die(mut)』
There is a serious
error in the translation of Genesis 3:3-4.『But of the fruit of the tree which
is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall
ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not
surely(mut) die(mut)』
Umiferi (of fruit) Haats (of
trees) Asher (relative pronoun) Betok (in the center) Haggan (of the garden)
Amar (he said) Elohim Ro (negative) Tokelu (will eat) Mimmennu (it) Wero
(denial) Tigeu (not to touch) Bo (it) Pen (not to do) Temutun (shall you die)
Wayomer (and said) Hannahas
(serpent) El (to) Haisha (woman) Ro (unholy) Mot (die) Temutun (shall die)
Translating again, it
is as follows: “The fruit of the tree in the
middle of the garden is what God said: ‘You shall eat of it, lest you die, and you shall touch it lest you die.’ And the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not die, but you will die.’”
This is an expression that in the
future, in Christ, the saints will eat the fruit of resurrection life and their
spirit will not die. It is an expression that if you eat the fruit of
resurrection life, your spirit will not die, but if you do not eat it, your
spirit will die.
So, Adam and Eve eat the fruit of
the tree of resurrection life. At this time, Adam and Eve are man and woman
after being separated from the first person, Adam.
In Genesis 3:3-6, God tells us to eat from the tree of life in the
center of the garden. In chapter 3 verses 5-6, 『For God doth know that in the day ye eat it,
then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant
to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit
thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband. with her; and he did eat.』
This means, “God knows that on the day you eat from it (the fruit of the tree of
life), your spiritual eyes will be opened and you will realize the “wrong good
of becoming like God.”” The Hebrew word wara
(base form la), which refers to evil in the phrase "good and evil,"
is an adjective that modifies good. It means the good of evil. It means wrong
good. Eve's desire to be like God is a wrong good. “When the woman saw that the
tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be
desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat.”
Genesis 3:8 『And they heard the voice of the LORD God
walking(Harak) in the garden in the cool(Ruach) of the day: and Adam and his
wife hid(Chava) themselves from the presence(Panim) of the LORD God among the
trees of the garden. When the wind blew that day, they heard the sound (ruach)
of the LORD God walking (harach) in the garden, and Adam and his wife fled from
the presence (panim) of the LORD God and went into the garden. Hidden among the
trees (Chava)』
Harakk means to go out. Ruach means
Holy Spirit. Panim is a face. Chava means to wrap.
Translated again, “When
they heard Jehovah God going out into the garden, the Holy Spirit enveloped
Adam and his wife before the face of God,” which is the same as the story of the prodigal son who
returned. It seems that God is in the house (temple) and then goes out into the
garden. At that time, Adam and Eve were in the garden.
In
chapter 3 verse 9, God asks Adam a question. Where were you, he asked. Genesis
3:10『And he said, I
heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid
myself.. 』The meaning of these words is, “I heard your voice in the garden,
and I realized that I was iniquity (naked), and I was afraid, but I was
covered.”
Chapter 3 Verse 11 『And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked?
Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not
eat?』
This content is also the same as
Genesis 3:3-4: “He
said to him, ‘You ate
from the tree from which I commanded you; who says you did not eat?’”
Chapter 3, Verse 12, “And the man said, The woman whom
thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” This fruit is the fruit of the tree
of life. It seems that the woman receives resurrection life first, and the man
receives resurrection life through the woman. The woman expresses the pain of
childbirth while giving birth to resurrection life.
Chapter 3 Verse 13 『And the LORD God said unto the woman,
What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me,
and I did eat.』
God is not scolding Eve, but is asking about the circumstances.
The woman said, “The
serpent caused me to eat, and I ate.” The snake means Satan. Rather than deceiving Eve, the
serpent said that the angels who sinned must eat the fruit of the tree of life
in order to be revived. The snake corresponds to the prosecutor who sues. The
prosecutor puts the criminal in prison, but tells him exactly how to return to
the kingdom of God.
Chapter 3 Verse 14 『And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because
thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of
the field; Upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days
of thy life:』
To rearrange this and parody it, 『The Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are
cursed by all who are under the law, but you will rule over the world and rule
over those who are made of dust.” God
gave the world to Satan. This is a scene that gives the position to rule. This
is in Luke 4:6, where Satan tests Jesus, saying, “And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give
thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I
will I give it.』
Chapter 3 Verse 15『And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy
seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head her, and thou shalt bruise his heel
her.』
Women are people who came into the
world in opposition to God. The world is a prison, and the spirits trapped in
the dust are the spirits of angels who sinned. Therefore, they will consider
Satan, the prosecutor, as their enemy. However, it means that the woman's
descendant (Christ) will save sinners. Satan and Jesus play the roles of
prosecutor and lawyer (judge). Since Jesus serves as both lawyer and judge, he
becomes an unjust judge. So, when they argue, Satan cannot defeat Jesus. Even
though Jesus exists, he has the authority to unilaterally forgive sins.
Chapter 3 Verse 16 『Unto the woman he said, I will greatly
multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth
children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.』
Those who have eaten the fruit of resurrection life make
others bear the fruit of resurrection life, but the pain is severe. It is the
pain of giving birth to a child that brings back a sinner. Her husband is Christ.
Chapter 3 Verse 17 “And
unto Adam he said, Because thou hast heard unto the voice of thy wife, and hast
eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it:
cursed is the ground for. thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days
of thy life;』
This content is also revisited
through the Hebrew Bible: “God
said to Adam, ‘You
listened to your wife and ate the fruit, but my command is that if you do not
eat the fruit, you will be cursed. So, now you will die and eat the fruit of
resurrection.”
Chapter 3 Verses 18-19 『Thorns also and thistles shall it bring
forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of your
face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast
thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust thou return.』 It takes suffering for believers to bear the fruit of resurrection.
The target is those who are like seedless vegetables in the field. So, they
will eat it, make seeds, and spread them in the soil.
Chapter 3 Verses 20-21『Unto Adam also and to his wife did the
LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. And the LORD God said, Behold,
the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put
forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.
:』 By eating the fruit from the tree of life, Eve
became a living person with spiritual resurrection life. Mothers produce
children of resurrection. The leather garment represents the spiritual body.
(5) Preach the gospel
3:22-23『Chapter 3 Verses 22-23『And the LORD God
said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil(Wara tov,
wadat) and now, lest he put forward(Yadou
Isla Pen)his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for
ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till
the ground from whence he was taken. 』
“Wara tov, wadat” is
the knowledge of the wrong good. Isla (Sharak) means to withdraw one's hand. 『Yadou Isla Pen』
means not to withdraw your hand.
Translated again, “The
Lord God said, ‘Behold,
this man has known wrong and good, and now he has become like one of us. Hold
on to him, lest he pull his hand away, lest he take also from the tree of life
and eat, and live forever.’” These words mean: It's about converting people.
Chapter 3 Verse 24 『So he drove out the man; and
he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword
which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.』 He is the first man, Christ. The word shalach, “drive them
out,” means to make them go out. “Shamar” means to
protect.
『God
took the man out of Eden (and brought Christ out of the kingdom of God), and
placed cherubim and flaming swords on the east side of the Garden of Eden to
protect the way to the tree of life.』 (Angels guard the
tree of life. ) The word protect does not mean preventing something from being
done, but rather means protecting it from disappearing. Angels guard for those
who come to eat of the fruit of the tree of life.
If you read Genesis 2-3, you
will see that Adam, the first man born into the world, disobeyed God's command,
and because of that original sin, all people in the world became sinners, and
Adam was an unscrupulous human being. If Adam had not sinned, people think that
they would enjoy eternal life in this world.
However, the Hebrew Bible
tells us that the spirits of angels who sinned in the kingdom of God entered
the dust and became humans, and that these people must eat the fruit of the
tree of life and return to the kingdom of God through resurrection life. The
content of Genesis chapters 2-3 is not a story about sin, but a story about
resurrection life.
